Purchase Ledger Clerk
£14,000 to £15,000
Our client is an expanding company based in Castleford and is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accounts department.
The role will involve:
• Coding of invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• Having invoices signed off & filed
• Dealing with queries, liaising with contracts managers/QS
• Speaking with suppliers regarding payment dates etc
• Inputting invoices onto system
• Monthly statement reconciliations
• Raising of purchase orders
• All invoices to be authorised and on system by 15th of the month, in order for month end accounts to be started.
You must have previous purchase ledger experience. Experience of CIS would be an advantage, although not essential as training will be given.
Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
