Production Planner

Our client is a leading manufacturing company that supplies specialist's products to a broad range of retailers throughout the UK and Europe.
With a strong brand name and an excellent reputation they have won many prestigious industry awards.
Operating out of state of the art premises they are open 24 hours a day and require a competent planner to schedule for daily production
The Role
This is a contract role to cover for maternity leave however there is a strong possibility that this may lead to a permanent role.
Key duties associated with this role include:
- Prepare daily basis production plans and incorporate changed orders, production, engineering or quality issues into these schedules
- Monitoring the stock system to ensure that enough products are available for production and investigate differences in stock reconciliation
- Work closely with the logistics department ensuring that goods are despatched in time and in full
About You:
- Ideally from a food manufacturing environment you will have proven experience in planning for production and working to strict timescales
- to this role being initially on a temporary basis you will ideally be available for work at short notice
Hours & Days:
Days only 4 on 4 off rotating daily shift pattern
